Practice Assignment

Find an empty notebook around your home, or get one from the store. You'll be starting a simple skills journal in the upcoming sections. On the back page of that notebook, describe at least one recent crisis that you've gone through. Describe what happened that you felt was stressful. In the upcoming sections, look at that and see how you might apply the skills being discussed if something like that happens again.

As a useful reference, you may wish to check out the Crisis Survival Cheat Sheet.

When you're ready to move on go to: Section 7 - Distraction with ACCEPTS.
